God has blessed us with beautiful weather , an unbelievable wonderful group of kids who are centered in Jesus and who have integrated into a cohesive group .
Hopefully you have been reading their blogs from DAY 1 and 2 . I wish you could hear the discussions in the minivans when they talk about the days events , where they have seen God and how they want to deepen our youth ministry at Holy Comforter .
We have three teams of 4, 3 and 3 who decide , shop , cook and clean up dinner each evening.
They only have $56 to feed 14  with an appetizer , entree and dessert . They have 30 minutes to shop , 90 minutes to cook . Talk about cooperation - and leadership . It’s a joy to listen to them consider , reject , reconsider and assign tasks . Plus they have two non meat eaters and one gluten free person and some youth who are allergic to peanuts and other food.
